Sheila Carney is the lead director of our UK Office, where she is responsible for the design and delivery of innovative complex healthcare and science projects. Her unique experience of working collaboratively in our framework partnerships, gives her an invaluable understanding of the strategic issues facing our leading healthcare clients. Sheila has a particular interest in acute and complex healthcare facilities, and the incorporation of modern technologies in the built environment.

Sheila has presented papers at the European Healthcare Design Congress, International Proton Therapy Congress (PTCog) and the UK-China Oncology Congress. She also plays an active role in the Architects for Health (AfH) organisation.

Her most recent projects include the new Grafton Way building for University College London Hospital and a new Masterplan for Royal Berkshire Hospital.
