Kevin is a Director of Scott Tallon Walker Architects and a winner of the RIAI Triennial Gold Medal for excellence in architecture. His experience covers a range of international Healthcare, Science & Research and University Buildings. Kevin has delivered some of STW’s most complex Projects such as the Tyndall National Institute and is the design lead for the Proton Beam Therapy Centre at University College London Hospital.
Kevin plays a leading role in expanding STW’s International portfolio and during his time as Office Manager in Riyadh he delivered several major projects such as the King Saud Sports Campus and the King Abdulla Institute for Nanotechnology. Currently based in our London office, Kevin continues to oversee international projects in Europe and the Middle East.
In the UK, Kevin has recently delivered a Level 2 Containment laboratory Building for The Pirbright Institute and is currently overseeing the delivery of University College London Hospital’s Royal National Ear, Nose, Throat & Dental Hospital and Proton Therapy Facility.
Kevin has a proven ability to lead large teams of consultants, stakeholders and specialists to create visionary design proposals and to deliver complex building types across a range of sectors, including controlled laboratory environments for GMP, cleanroom, physics, electronics, biotechnology and the latest in cutting edge healthcare. His work for STW demonstrates that facilities that are cost-effective to build, operate and maintain, can also be engaging, dynamic environments, equipped with quality systems that help institutions gain international recognition and attract and retain students and staff.
Kevin has also been a visiting tutor in Cork Centre for Architectural Education and in King Saud University College of Architecture.
