Will is an Associate and Architect with Scott Tallon Walker, having joined the practice in 2015. He holds an honours degree from UCD School of Architecture. He has over 25 years’ experience in leading architectural practices in Dublin and San Francisco, delivering many high profile, complex and award-winning projects for public and private clients. Will worked initially in STW’s Dublin office, before moving to Cork in 2016 to lead the project team on the award-winning Lee Point Student Accommodation development, a transformative urban regeneration project in the historic core of Cork city. He was also the design team leader for the Béal na Bláth Centenary Landscape Project and leads the STW team for the new Cork Event Centre. The motivation for Will's work in architecture is the vision of the built project, finished to excellent standards, the collaborative effort, and challenges to be overcome to realise it. Will’s interests lie in the sustainable use of natural materials, daylight and ventilation in new buildings, adaptation of old buildings for re-use, and in landscape and public realm design.
