Miesian Plaza achieves LEED v4 Platinum Certification

Scott Tallon Walker are proud to announce that Miesian Plaza is the first building in Ireland to achieve LEED Platinum v4 Certification, the highest accreditation from the USGBC. Redeveloped with Remley Developments Ltd, Miesian Plaza is only building in Ireland to be awarded LEED Platinum v4, and only the 179th building in the world.

Originally designed by Scott Tallon Walker in the 1960’s. Miesian Plaza underwent extensive redevelopment to provide Grade A office accommodation in line with best international practice and to the highest environmental standards. To secure LEED Platinum v4 accreditation, Miesian Plaza was assessed by the USGBC for:

  • Integrative Process
  • Location and Transport
  • Sustainable Sites
  • Water Efficiency
  • Energy and Atmosphere
  • Materials and Resources
  • Indoor Environmental Quality
  • Innovation
  • Regional Priority Credits

The Miesian Plaza complex comprises three office buildings each fitted out by Scott Tallon Walker Block 1 is now occupied by The Department of Health, The Department of Children and Youth Affairs and the Department of Finance. Block 2 & 3 are occupied by Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited.
