Scott Tallon Walker Architects were commissioned to prepare an urban design strategy an architectural design proposals for a significant landmark site situated in the centre of Cork City.  

The location is particularly sensitive on the banks of the River Lee, terminating a vista along Grand Parade, one of the principal City Centre thoroughfares and closed landmark buildings including the historic St. Finbarr’s Cathedral. The urban design strategy set criteria by which the architectural design developed. It gave particular regard to street scape, skyline, massing and form.  

The proposed high density development which was granted Planning Permission includes a mixture of uses, retail, commercial and a significant residential component as part of the regeneration of Cork City Centre.
