David is a Director of Scott Tallon Walker Architects, joining the practice in 1992 to work on the Dublin Civic Offices project. David’s expertise includes higher education and commercial projects, also leading our Interior Design division and quality assurance team.
David is exceptionally skilled at marrying an aesthetic and creative input to fundamentally technical and commercial facilities. His designs have given a unique, iconic presence to academic institutions and functional facilities alike. His designs have pioneered the use of specialist façade systems as a key element of sustainable building design and the reduction of energy consumption. David enjoys working in collaboration with other design and construction professionals, valuing the continuous learning and improvement in one’s skills which comes from working with people with different areas of expertise to create innovative, sustainable designs.
Other Experience:
- David has served as an assessor on the STW sponsored RIAI annual Student Excellence Award.
